2025 Year-End Review

Hello everyone! Another year, another Year-End Review!

Each year, the board of directors of the Fellowship of Northern of Traditions have what we call our Year-End Review. This is a much more extensive meeting than those we typically hold twice a month. During the year-end-review, we plan for the year ahead, review our by-laws, conduct a thorough review of our finances from the past year, bring new members onto the board, and more. This blog post is to update the community on all that was discussed, including updates for the year ahead! We are looking forward to sharing a magical year with you. TLDR: It was a great year for FoNT!

Finances

At the end of our 2025 Fiscal Year, the Fellowship held $31,683.12 (2024 - $28,775.81)

Our GoFundMe, launched in 2022, has raised $26,145 to date, before removing fees collected by the GoFundMe platform.

The total amount raised via our book sales, merchandise sales, and via our Discord online community subscriptions was $7,056.67 (2024- $4,059.79)

Gathering expenses were $23,563.48 (2024- $18,910.62) and gathering income was $25,642 (2024- $20,019)

We had a great year financially! We have more assets than last year, and revenue from books, merch, and Discord went up. We spent more on gatherings in 2025 than in 2024, and gatherings were in the green. We were able to invest funds from books, merch, and discord into outreach events this year, such as our first Pagan Pride event (in Minnesota), and multiple events in North Carolina and Texas.

The Hall

One of the main discussions had at the Leadership Retreat/Year-End Review this year was what to do to further our goals of purchasing land. With a more stable monthly income, we are currently talking with our bank on what kind of loan we could get with our current financial assets. We are hopeful we can make some real progress and begin surveying potential properties this year. We will of course update you the moment we know more!

You can still donate to the GoFundMe via this link and we hope to raise even more funds this year outside of direct donations. We plan on investigating other avenues for purchasing land this year.

Other notes:

  • We are continuously discussing methods to keep our community safe. We have adopted stronger screening processes for new members to insure our events and online spaces remain safe.

  • The board voted to enhance the responsibility’s of the audit committee to insure all other committees, officers, and board members are preforming within bylaw and community expectations.

  • The board reaffirmed it’s stance to be inclusive to all, while also keeping political discussion to a minimum in our online spaces and while at our events.

The fire still burns strong in the Fellowship of Northern Traditions. We are committed to creating sacred space where bonds are forged between human beings, their ancestors, the spirits, and the gods. With many exciting gatherings and events planned for this year, and big plans and dreams for the year ahead, we wish you all peace, joy, bravery, and fellowship in the next turning of the wheel. We hope to see you around the fire.

With Gratitude,

The Fellowship
