Ohio Day Hike

We will be celebrating the End of Summer with Day hike at East Fork State Park in Ohio (About 30 minutes east of Cincinnati). There will be an option to overnight camp as well. What to expect:

  • Initial Meeting with an Introduction Circle at the parking lot located near our trail

  • The hike will be easy, but long. Expect around 8 miles of total hiking. Wear good foot wear!

  • We will coordinate together prior to the event to make sure we all bring enough water and snacks.

  • There will be a small ritual at the end of the hike to celebrate the end of summer and the return of autumn.

  • Optional group dinner for those not spending the night at a nearby restaurant.

  • Camping

    • There is an option to overnight cap at East Fork at a shelter. It is free to do, but we do need to register those interested.

    • Over nighters will need to work together to carry in wood/meals/water.

    • Bring your gear for sleeping.

    • We will have additional activities for the evening. Possible drum circles/ceremonies, sacred councils, and rituals

  • Cost

    • This event is free, however if you wish to make a donation to The Fellowship of Northern Traditions (FoNT) it would be greatly appreciated.
