Ohio Ostara 2026

The Ohio Long Hall we will be staying in

Cost: $125 per person

Spots: 40 spots for this event.
Sleeping arrangements are split between bunks located in the Longhall and outside camping. Please keep in mind March temperatures and indicate which sleeping arrangements suit your needs. Inside options may run out quicker than outside.

Food: Pot luck style, cooked on site. To be planned in video meetings prior to events.

Notes: This will be at the Viking Longhall that we have rented before. So please keep in mind this is a semi-primitive experience. There is a compost toilet, outdoor shower/river to bathe in, generator power, limited cell reception, propane heat, and no refrigerator. This is very much a camping event, with the option to sleep inside, otherwise treat it like you are about to go camping. You will need to bring your own bedding, plates, cups, bowls, utensils, etc.

Event Schedule

We will arrive as Sunna rides the sky on Friday. Then honor the Landvættir and Snotra beneath Mani’s Gaze that night.

On Saturday, we will gather under the newborn sun to hail the Golden Twins, Freyr and Freyja. After we will be called to the cool waters of the properties stream to call to the Goddess of Healing, Eir.

Sunday will begin with a community Trading Post, where we can exchange among the crafts people of the community. The final event on our final night together will be a time for all to honor the Gods of their choice at our community Open Blot.

We always hate to leave on Monday, however it must be done after the ritual spaces are closed and Snotra is hailed one last time. We will then part and return to our homes under the protection of the Gods of old. Or we will all eat a local diner together and scare the locals as we do every year.
